Objective To study the individual dose of occupational exposure and its influencing factors of radiation workers in three tertiary hospitals in Ma'anshan City, and to evaluate the intervention effect and related influencing factors through radiation knowledge training, which improve the occupational health of radiation-related workers and provide scientific theoretical basis for increasing the occupational health of radiation workers. Methods A total of 79 radiation workerswith5 years of work experience from Dec 2009 to Dec 2010 in three tertiary hospitals in Ma'anshan City were allowed to monitor their personal radiation dose.154 radiation workerswho had2 years working experience from Dec 2012 to Dec 2014 were selected ascontinuous radiology Training object for radiation protection knowledge training. The questionnaire was used to carry out their basic situation, and work related situation by using the “Medical Radiation workers' Questionnaire”.The questionnaire survey was conducted 154 participants before and afterthe subjects receivedtheintervention trainingto find out how much the score they got in radiation workers knowledge of radiation hazard, radiation protection knowledge, radiation laws and regulations of the corresponding score of knowledge.Thermoluminescence dosimeter was used for the detection of radiation workers occupational exposure to personal exposure, wearing the left chest, the cycle of 3 months,4 times a year cycle.Results(1)Result of individual external exposure dose for 395 radiation workersmonitored 5 years shows, the per capita annual dose is0.90 ± 0.36 m Sv / a,which is far below the national standard limit level(20m Sv / a).(P <0.05).The difference of the average dose per day between radiation workers was statistically significant(P <0.05).(2)The research on radiation knowledge training : The scores of radiation workers of different types of work before and after radiology training were compared, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The score of radiation hazard training, radiation protection skills, radiation health laws and regulations were higher than before, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the knowledge training, the average annual dose of radiation workers was lower than that beforetraining, and it has statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: The average annual radiation doseof radiation workers in three hospitals of Ma'anshan City is lower than the national regulations. The different types of work, post and weekly working hours affect the exposure equivalent level. The radiation knowledge training can effectively reduce the radiation dose of radiation workers, and the type of work is an important factor affecting the effect of training intervention.
