With the development of society and economy, the air pollution problem has also been plaguing most parts of our country, while the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region has repeatedly launched a haze warning. One of the main causes of haze is that the air contains a lot of fine particles, referred to as PM2.5.In daily life, people tend to spend more time indoors than outdoors.Especially on working days, people have long periods of time in indoor public places. Therefore,in order to protect human health,it is of great practical significance to study the correlation between indoor and outdoor PM2.5 pollution in public places. This paper took a typical office building in Beijing as an example to study the correlation between indoor and outdoor PM2.5 pollution in public places. The measurements were conducted in office rooms on different floors of the office building, under different outdoor concentrations of PM2.5 with the low concentrations below 35?g/m3,the moderate concentrations around 75?g/m3 and the high concentrations above 100?g/m3,in three different situations including doors and windows closed, natural ventilation and the use of air conditioning for indoor air forced convection. The indoor and outdoor PM2.5 concentration levels were for continuous real-time monitoring and sampling. In addition, computational fluid dynamics simulation software was used for 1:1 modeling of the office building and its surrounding 300×200m range of buildings, the office building indoor air flow conditions were described, and then the indoor propagation path of fine particles that can not be observed by field measurement were studied, the accuracy of the measured results is verified from the side. The results show that although the doors and windows are closed, due to the presence of gaps such as doors and windows, the PM2.5 concentration in the room will increase as the outdoor concentration increases. In the case of natural ventilation, indoor PM2.5 concentration is more pronounced with outdoor air flow due to better indoor and outdoor air mobility. And forced convection of indoor air will enhance air convection in doors and windows, thereby enhancing indoor and outdoor PM2.5 relevance. In addition, the software simulation results are basically consistent with the actual measurement conditions.
