3C products play the very important role in our lives.With the improvement of living standards,personalized products demand of people and quality of 3C products are constantly improving.Therefore,3C enterprises are required to introduce more 3C products and continuous upgrading.The improvement of the surface quality of 3C products requires better machining tools.Tool design and manufacturing technology play an important role in 3C products.In order to improve the surface quality,different cutting tools are used to process different quality requirements.The blade shapes of tools play a decisive role in the surface quality of the machined workpiece and the tool wear.Therefore,the design and manufacture of the excellent cutting edge are very important for the high quality machining of the tools.First of all,aiming at cutting the solid carbide chamfering tools,the surface quality of the cell phone shell is not good,the life of tool is low,and the surface texture of tool grinding is not thorough.Aiming at the design of tool edge structure,three kinds of solid carbide chamfering tools with different edge structures are designed,including the oblique texture of shock absorbing edge surface chamfering cutter,the V-shaped texture of shock absorbing edge surface and the chamfering tools with the edge.The theoretical analysis of three kinds of cutters are carried out for texture angles,different texture shapes and edge length.The solid carbide tools are designed,including geometric parameter design,UG modeling and MATLAB analytic geometry modeling.Secondly,this paper calculated the wheel center point and wheel axis.The three kinds of solid carbide chamfering tools are simulated using NUMROTO software,thus the design and grinding of tools are verified,which lay a good foundation for the next step of processing five axis grinding machine,and provide a theoretical basis for precision grinding of solid carbide cutting tools.Considering the accuracy of the five axis CNC grinder,this paper uses the Saacke five axis grinding machine to process three kinds of solid carbide chamfering tools.Thirdly,the grinding and testing of the solid carbide chamfering tools with three different cutting edge structures are made in this paper.The geometric parameters and the surface morphology of the solid carbide chamfering tools are detected,and the surface quality and morphology are analyzed.The photos of surface oblique texture,V-shaped texture and texture protrusion and groove parameters measurement of carbide tool are prepared for the subsequent cutting test.Finally,aiming at the cutting test research,the tool cutting tests and the wear tests of the tools with good tools performance are carried out for three kinds of solid carbide chamfering tools with different edge structures,and the experimental results are analyzed and optimized ulteriorly.
