The factors influencing the stability of open-pit slopes are complex.Different mining areas have their own characteristics in slope stability analysis. It focuses on the rational and effective analysis and evaluation of the slope of open-pit mine is in favor of the safe and orderly production of the mining area.To some extent,It also saves the maintenance cost of the mine area and achieves good economic benefits. After years of exploitation, the Qingling shale mine's security situation of the slope in Guangde County has become very grave.Based on the current status of Qingling Shale Mine in Guangde County, this paper obtained basic data through geological survey of the mining area and investigation of the slope structural plane of the mining area, and obtained rock mechanics parameters through field experiments in the mining area.According to the Hoek-Brown criterion, the mechanical parameters of slope rock mass are modified.According to different situations, the slopes were studied and analyzed in a targeted manner.Matlab was used to statistically analyze the structural planes of the slopes and draw a structural surface distribution histogram to obtain the dominant structural planes. The slope stability is qualitatively analyzed by the stereographic projection method, and the elastic plate theory is used for the I-area slope analysis and numerical simulation analysis. It has achieved very good results. The classification of the mine as a slope body in four areas shows that the slope of the slope in the area ? is higher than that of the slope left by history, which is the key slope to be studied.Based on the characteristics of its geological structure, the elastic plate theory was used to perform the buckle analysis and numerical simulation method. It was concluded that the slope was in the limit equilibrium under nornal conditions. In the earthquake and storm conditions,it has the possibility of slip-bending damage. In Zones?,?,and ?,it is less likely that wedge slope slipping occurs on slopes using the stereographic projection method. However, the slopes in Zone ? need attention in storms.Zone ? may result in local wedge slippage, and recommendations are given based on the stability of the slopes in each region.
