At present,the use of new materials of metal materials of aircraft manufacturing field is more and more to replace the traditional,but the composite structure under lightning damage is more serious,the aircraft flight safety has caused serious threat of lightning damage of composite materials and related protection becomes more and more important.The thermal effect of the resistance is an important internal cause of the lightning damage of carbon fiber composites,and the material parameters of the carbon fiber composite material are important.This paper takes this as the starting point to study the lightning damage characteristics of carbon fiber composites.This paper introduced the resistivity measurement methods of carbon fiber tow,carbon fiber prepreg and carbon fiber composite laminate,and chooses the test piece to measure the electrical resistivity.Two kinds of factors affecting the resistivity of carbon fiber composites are studied by selecting carbon fiber/resin content and protective modification methods.The direct effect of lightning current on the composite test parts is carried out.The damage threshold,damage area and damage depth of the lightning damage are obtained,and the lightning damage characteristics are studied.Subsequently,the carbon fiber composite laminate model is established by using the finite element simulation software ANSYS.Based on the above two factors,thermoelectric coupling simulation is carried out to further analyze the influence of the electrical characteristics of carbon fiber composite on its lightning damage factors.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Four probe method for the measurement of carbon fiber prepreg,carbon fiber composite material can decrease the effect of contact resistance on the results,carbon fiber prepreg and fiber resistivity.The resistivity of carbon fiber composite materials in low resistivity and thickness of the fiber axial direction showed a large resistance,the difference between the two is a number the number of grade.(2)Without any protection,CFRP is liable to damage when struck by lightning.With the increase of current peak,the damage extension fiber expands.The higher the carbon fiber content is,the conductivity of the composite can be increased in a certain condition,and the damage area and depth of the damage are reduced.(3)Carbon fiber composite material resistivity is an important internal cause that affects its lightning damage characteristics.The modification of carbon fiber composite can reduce electrical resistivity,accelerate lightning energy dissipation,improve composite resistance and heat resistance,and improve its lightning resistance performance.
