Under the background of the construction of an innovative country in China,the society pays more attention to the cultivation of innovative talents.In order to enhance national competitiveness and ease the pressure on employment in the society,various universities have launched the innovation and entrepreneurship education which “promoting entrepreneurship to create more employment opportunities”.And they have conducted more in-depth practical exploration in the construction of innovation and entrepreneurship curriculum system.Through consulting the relevant information of the project,the importance,necessity,and urgency of the development of innovation and entrepreneurship curriculum were affirmed.Meanwhile,the foundation of theory,the orientation of value,and the concept orientation of innovation and entrepreneurship courses were determined.The main research methods in this study were questionnaires,interviews,case studies,and summarizing methods.Through the analysis and integration of research data and related interviews on the current situation of the development of innovation and entrepreneurship curriculum in colleges and universities in the northwest region,the potential problems were found from the theoretical research on innovation and entrepreneurship and the practice of curriculum's development,while the local innovation and entrepreneurship education were summarized and analyzed from the perspectives of society,universities and individuals.The corresponding corrective actions were proposed from the point of view of education,the strength of teachers,the content of the curriculum,the practice of the course and so on.Based on the research results,the school-based curriculum's theoretical development was studied which purpose is to improve the ability of innovation and entrepreneurship in chemical or chemical engineering majors.The participants involved in the development was determined.The objectives of the curriculum are to cultivate students' professional qualities of chemistry and chemistry,improve the quality of students' innovation and entrepreneurship,establish correct values and serving the society.Corresponding to the curriculum objectives,the content structure of the curriculum was constructed from the three modules: professional knowledge and skills,research and practice of innovation and entrepreneurship,career planning and values.It provides reference for the development of the school-based curriculum that aims at cultivating innovation and entrepreneurship in the chemistry and chemical engineering majors of universities in the northwestern region.It expounds the course setting and teaching facilities and teaching methods in the process of curriculum setting and implementation of the developed curriculum.The safety measures in the teaching process of chemical experiment and innovation practice are stressed.Through the case "Nano-catalytic Technology and Energy Strategy","Thin-film Solar Cells and Processes" and " Chemical Pharmaceutical Technology",it provides reference for the development of school-based curriculum in the northwestern region that aims to cultivate innovation and entrepreneurship.The study was conducted on the management and evaluation of innovation and entrepreneurship courses,and the administrative and academic management were elaborated.A new management model for the implementation of school-based curriculum that aims at cultivating innovation and entrepreneurship in the chemical and chemical engineering majors of universities in Northwest China was proposed.The evaluation subject,evaluation content,evaluation method and evaluation criteria of the course were determined.Through the research of this topic,it is hoped that in the context of innovation and entrepreneurship education.We will continue to deepen the educational connotation of the school-based curriculum of chemical and chemical specialties.It is hoped to strengthen the construction of innovation practice bases in colleges and universities in the northwestern region,build a school-based curriculum system that aims to cultivate innovation and entrepreneurship capabilities in more complete chemical and chemical engineering majors.
