The phosphor iridium complex is used on OLED devices because of the shortest three wire state and good luminescence performance,and it can be used in the main material to produce high efficiency devices.A neutral iridium complexs were synthesized by using Tris(2,4-di-tert-butylphenyl)phosphiteas the bicyclic metallization ligand and2,2'-bipyridine and its derivatives as auxiliary ligands.The structure of the complex was confirmed by NMR,high resolution mass spectrometry and single crystal.The photophysical properties of the complexes were characterized.The complexes doped in PMMA showed green emission.The wavelengths of three complexes,[(bpy)Ir(tdbpit)Cl],[(dtbbpy)Ir(tdbpit)Cl] and [(sbbpy)Ir(tdbpit)Cl],were 530 nm,535 nm,and 527 nm,respectively.The introduction of tert-butyl and rigid structures on the bipyridyl ligands could effectively increase the efficiency of the device;this is in good agreement with our expectations.The external quantum efficiencies of the doped organic electroluminescent devices prepared with the complexes were 7.4%,10.1%,and 9.6%,and the maximum luminance and maximum current efficiency were 9246 cd m-2,10210 cd/m2,15990 cd/m2 and 22.5 cd/A,32.5 cd/A,31.5 cd/A.Nowadays,iridium complexes had been widely used in sensors;particularly,the detection of silver ions was rarely used at present;we hadsynthesized the complex[(phen)Ir(tdbpit)Cl] by using o-phine porphyrin with a certain rigid structure and tri(2,4-di-tert-butyl)Phenyl)phosphite as a bicyclic metallization ligand,and measured the UV absorption and emission spectra with Ag+;the UV absorption intensity at 300 nm was enhanced and other ions were no change,when adding 1 times equivalent of Ag+,the fluorescence intensity was enhanced to about 1393%at the wavelength of 527nm;its linear equation was y=112.05x+11.28(R2=0.979),its detection limit was calculated as 0.13?M.This was close to the reported value of the iridium complex probe(10-7 M).This illustrated that the complex [(phen)Ir(tdbpit)Cl] has a high selectivity for Ag+.When the iridium complex is used to prepare the device,it often produces aggregation because of the high concentration.In order to avoid the appearance of this phenomenon,three kinds of ligands with dishene structure have been designed and synthesized.Iridium complex(tps)2Ir(bpfpz)is synthesized with benzothiazoles three sphenoene(tps).Its fluorescence emission wavelength is 545 nm,HOMO energy level is-5.37 e V,LUMO level is-3.10 e V,energy gap difference(Eg)is 2.27,and quantum efficiency is 77.6%.It can be made at a later stage.
