In the research field of open-pit mining,with the increase of quantity and production of open-pit mine.Two important preconditions of engineering design and safety implementation of open-pit mine stripping is scientific analysis of stability on the soft rock side slop and rational design of side slope shape to analyze the actual geology condition in the soft rock open-pit mine effectively.The thesis researches that adopting coodirating mining can be the important point about the stability on the south side slope by the methods of comprehensive application of field investigation,gathering investigation,theoretical analysis,rigid limit equilibrium analysis,numerial simulation analysis,and etc.on the engineering background of adopting coordinating mining and analyzing the concrete geological codition in the Open-pit Mine Baiyinhua No.1 and No.2.It can locate the south side slope and define the shape by the rigid limit equilibrium software,based here to research that exposing length of weak layer influence of excavating angle to three-dimensional slope stability and landslide mode with using the FLAC3D.The results show that weak layer is the controllable factor to impact on the stability of side slope.The south slope is easily bedded and cutted layer sliding.Not only can it make sure that safe distance is 80m between the south slope and the south dump,also it certain the best side slope mode.The longer does the exposing length of weak layer make,the worse does the stability of the south side slope develop with excavating the slope angle to the certain degree.The stability coefficient tends to be a constant value when the exposing length is beyond a critical value.If the exposing length of weak layer ia less than 100m,the excavating angle less impact on the stability of side slope.If the exposing lenth of weak layer is more than 100m,the impact will be more obviously to decrease the stability of side slope.
