With the rapid development of the nuclear industry and nuclear technology,the total amount of radioactive waste water containing uranium has become more and more complex.How to deal with these uranium-containing wastes efficiently and cheaply has become a major challenge for the world's major nuclear-related countries and regions.Adsorption methods are valued for their economy,simplicity,and efficiency.In this study,the graphite oxide?GO?prepared by Hummers method.The modified bentonite was mixed with the graphene oxide by low temperature,medium temperature and high temperature reaction.Then we got the Graphene oxide/bentonite composites?GO/Bent?.The effect of GO/Bent on the coexistence of uranium and the uranium cadmium coexistence solution was investigated by static orthogonal test.The effects of GO content,pH,GO/Bent dosage,adsorption time,initial concentration and coexisting ions on the adsorption of uranium.The adsorption mechanism was explored by means of scanning electron microscopy?SEM?and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy?FTIR?.The adsorption of U??? by GO/Bent showed that the best adsorption result occurred when the GO content was 30%,the dosage of GO/Bent was 0.2g/L,the pH value was 6,the initial concentration of U???was 10 mg/L,and the adsorption time was 1h.The Langmuir isothermal model and the pseudo-second-order kinetic equation can well describe the adsorption process of GO/Bent adsorption U???.XRD,SEM,EDS and FTIR analysis indicated that GO/Bent was successfully synthesized,with rough surface.The groups with coordination complexes are-OH,Si-O and Si-O-Si,and the skeleton of GO/Bent has no change after U???adsorption.The adsorption of U??? and Cd2+ by GO/Bent showed that the best adsorption result occurred when the GO content was 30%,the dosage of GO/Bent was 0.2 g/L,the pH value was 6,the initial concentration of U???and Cd2+was 10 mg/L,and the adsorption time was 1h.The Langmuir isothermal model and the pseudo-second-order kinetic equation can well describe the adsorption process of GO/Bent adsorption U???and Cd2+.XRD,SEM,EDS and FTIR analysis indicated that GO/Bent was successfully synthesized,with rough surface and rich active sites.And it had significant adsorption effect for U???and Cd2+.
