The vibration characteristic of the tires is a key factor affecting the noise inside the passenger vehicles,and the cavity resonance of the tire is another part that can not be ignored when studying the vibration characteristics of the tire.The cavity resonance phenomenon not only aggravates the vibration of the tread,but also causes the change of the sound pressure in the cavity of the tire,and produces a great force on the axle.In order to analyze the tire's vibration characteristics and cavity resonance phenomenon simultaneously,a coupled structural-acoustic flexible ring model considering cavity resonance is established.The main contributions of this thesis are listed as follows:(1)According to the structural characteristics of radial tire,it is simplified as a flexible ring model,the differential equations of the tire ring model with the inclusion of the tire rotation speed and the two translational and one rotational DOFs of the wheel rim are derived by means of related mechanics knowledge and Hamiltonian principle.Because the tensile stiffness of the belt of radial tire is large,it is considered that it can not be extended,so that the motion differential equation is further simplified,which reduces the fitting parameters and improves the efficiency of the researchers.(2)The structural-acoustic coupling between the sound field in the carcass and the cavity is considered in the flexible ring model.Subsequently,the motion differential equations of the coupling flexible ring model are established by using the continuous boundary conditions of vibration velocity.Then,the equations of motion are solved by modal expansion method,and the characteristic matrix of coupling tire-rim system is obtained.(3)The reliability and accuracy of the coupling flexible ring model is verified by the tire modal test.Next,based on this modal,the inherent characteristics of the tire vibration are analyzed,such as natural frequencies of the structure,resonance frequencies of the cavity and mode shapes.Finally,the influence of each physical parameter of the coupling ring modal on the natural frequencies is discussed.
