With the advent of an "internet +" era, digital media and information technology have changed peoples lives as well as the way they learn.Up till now,a new style of online learning has been thriving.Massive open online courses,or MOOC has swept across the country as an up and coming star in the online field since 2012,severely impacting the traditional educational model and bringing a bright future to the educational system.MOOC makes colleges and universities to unlock their knowledge repository overnight. It brings elite schools, famous teachers and excellent courses to learners all over the world. This kind of behavior greatly promotes the fairness and openness of education. In addition,it's Internet gene naturally meet the needs of learner's mobile learning in the future. At present, the well-known colleges and universities and commercial organizations around the world have developed their platforms for MOOC,and launched courses in various subjects. However, due to cultural diversity and the different emphasis of behavioral objectives, there are great differences in design of each platform and courses in it.MOOC originated in Europe and America, and has advanced theory of knowledge as the support. Not to be outdone,MOOC in China has also developed very fast in last few years.Through the comparison of inorganic chemistry MOOC between China and the USA,this paper explores the differences in curriculum construction between the two countries,in order to obtain some enlightenment, and puts forward feasible suggestions for the construction of MOOC in China. This article selects "inorganic Chemistry Chinese Advanced Placement" inChinese university MOOC platform and "Advanced Chemistry" course in Coursera for comparative study. It mainly from six dimensions to analyze the two courses in macro aspects, including the teaching platform, teaching content, teaching form, study material and learning estimate, learning support services(including guidance learning, the function of supervising learning, and assistance learning system); The paper also selects the "dynamic" chapter in two courses to make a Microscopic comparison,so as to find their separate strengths and differences. Finally,on the basis of the result of comparison and existence questions, the thesis puts forward some suggestions for the construction of inorganic chemistry MOOC in China, including: the chemistry MOOC should provide a variety of supplementary learning resources and supervision support, offer multiple types of test questions, embed demonstration experiments inside videos of lectures to enhance the interest of class, and improve the communication and interaction between learners with the help of social media.Forms of Certificate signing be diversified, and the credit authentication between the colleges and universities should be accelerated.
