With the improvement of people's living standards the increase of traffic demand and the rapid development of automobile industry,more and more cars are being used as traffic travel tools.It provides mankind with convenient?fast?time-saving?freedom and other favorable conditions,but it also brings an increasingly prominent road traffic safety issues.According to incomplete statistics,the number of deaths from traffic accidents in the world reaches 35 million each year,The losses caused by this are immeasurable.Therefore,the research of road traffic safety risk assessment is imminent,its purpose is to scientifically analyze the causes of road traffic safety induced to reduce the number of road traffic accidents and reduce the degree of accident damage.In this paper,the whole road traffic safety system was taken as the research object by AHP,K-maens clustering analysis and reference to ChinaRap and other theories and methods,the paper analyzed the causes,influencing factors and mechanism of road traffic accidents.On the basis of the existing road traffic safety research results,the highway traffic safety risk assessment system was established and the system was applied to evaluate the traffic safety of the highway network in Yongcheng.This paper first defined the relevant concepts of highway traffic safety risk,and analyzed from the macro political?economic?cultural and educational aspects,and from the linear?subgrade?pavement?bridge and culvert?tunnel?intersection?logo and other road's own influencing factors,with reference to the existing research results,the evaluation index was screened,and the weight of specific indicators was evaluated by AHP,then a highway traffic safety evaluation index system covering natural factors?management factors?vehicle factors?road factors and traffic flow factors was established.Grasping the major contradictions and neglecting the secondary influencing factors,a multi-functional software system integrating information collection,data processing,risk assessment and risk statistical analysis was established to establish a road traffic safety risk assessment model.The research showed that people?vehicles?roads and environment had significant differences on road traffic safety,and management factors should not be underestimated.The application of this software overcomed the problem of waste of manpower,material resources and financial resources caused by decentralized processing,took active precautionary measures for the risks that occur after the accident,improved the road traffic safety,and provided the basis for the relevant managers' decision-making.Finally,this paper evaluated the road traffic safety of trunk highway in Yongcheng,Henan Province,It was concluded that the city with good safty as the actual safety level in Yongcheng was mainly Grade II and III.The evaluation results were in good agreement with the actual situation,indicating that the evaluation system was reasonable to a certain extent.
