Tool wear is the key limit factor of the high speed and efficient processing of difficult-to-cut materials.As a kind of difficult-to-cut material,titanium alloy is applied in many fields.Even though innovative materials are used to the manufacture process of it,there needs a further breakthrough of the process.In the titanium alloy cutting process,the cutting chip is easily adhered to the tool,which decreases the cutting efficiency and intensifies the tool wear.It is proved by researchers at home and abroad that the micro-texture tool has favorable anti-friction performance.In this research,the micro-texture which was asymmetric or not was machined through the single-point indenter scratching processing technology on the cemented carbide surface.What's more,the scale of the texture was micro grade.In order to get better parameters of the textures,friction test and dry cutting experiments were performed to analyze the cutting properties of different morphologies of micro-texture tools.The main contents of this study are as follows:1.The asymmetric section morphology of the micro-texture was machined through the single-point diamond indenter with the scratching processing technology on the cemented carbide surface.For different angles of 10 and 20 degrees of the blade,texture span 200?m,250?m,300?m,respectively,scratching speed of 2 mm/s,3 mm/s,4 mm/s,respectively,to ensure texture groove depth and constant scratch load.The cross-section morphology of texture under different parameters was observed by using hyperdepth-microscope,and the feasibility of the method was confirmed.2.The texture of the cemented carbide surface friction and wear test,The test when the applied load remains the same,after the friction and wear of the same time,Analysis of different cross section shape the scratch parameters of micro texture on the surface friction coefficient,The effect of using ultra micro texture depth of field observation of wear surface morphology,In order to get the best micro texture parameters.3.Through the preparation of varying cross section morphology of micro texture cutting tools for dry cutting experiment of titanium alloy,By scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and super wear conditions of a depth of field observation after cutting tool rake face and the sword of the abrasion quantity after,and use energy spectrum analyzer(EDS)to test the tool rake face of element content,then observe the changes of chip morphology at the same time.Analysis of the mechanism of the different cross section morphology of micro texture,respectively compared with no texture,symmetry texture,10 degree morphology of tools texture tool and about 20 degree morphology texture anti-friction mechanism analysis between the four types of cutting tools.
