This experiment uses coal gangue to replace quartz,titanium dioxide,etc in the surfacing electrode to reduce the surfacing electrode producting cost and development high-tech applications of coal gangue resources.The optimal formula of coal gangue surfacing electrode is obtained through orthogonal experiments.Basis for the macro hardness of the surfacing layer to determine the optimal welding current,by using different current to welding a layer on Q235 steel.Using the metalloscope,SEM,XRD,rockwell hardness tester,microhardness tester,grain-abrasion testing machine,abrasive wear machine,erosion wear machine to test the microstructure,hardness,wear resistence of the surfacing,by using welding two layers on the Q235.The results show that the optimal addition of coal gangue surfacing electrode excipient is coal gangue 9.0g,quartz 1.9g,titanium pigment 3.1g,mica 2.0g.The optimal current is 150A.With two layers of surfacing welding,the Rockwell hardness of without coal gangue and coal gangue surfacing electrode layers are 59.6HRC and56.3HRC.The microstructure of without coal gangue surfacing layer is similar to the coal gangue surfacing layer,and metallurgical bond of interface between surfacing electrode layers and matrix have no obvious flaw.The phase composion of without coal gangue hardfacing layer is?-Fe,Fe1.36Cr0.52.52 and Cr7C3.The phase composion of coal gangue hardfacing layer is?-Fe?Cr7C3 and Al0.7Fe3Si0.3.When the grinding material is180#,240#and 360#waterproof abrasive paper,the abrasive wear-resistance of without coal gangue hardfacing layer and coal gangue hardfacing layer contrast substrate are respectively 4.745.98 times and 4.415.83 times.After 90 min of water erosion wear,without coal gangue hardfacing layer and coal gangue hardfacing layer contrast substrate are respectively 3.484.64 times and 2.274.60 times.After 90 min of seawater erosion wear,they contrast substrate are respectively 2.353.60 times and2.132.83 times After 90min of oil medium erosion wear,they contrast substrate are respectively 2.533.07 times and 1.823.22 times.The results of experiment show that coal gangue used for surfacing welding electrode is feasible.
