Aluminum alloy casting refers to casting molten aluminum alloy liquid into a mold,and after it is cooled and solidified,a desired method for forming the blank of the part is obtained.In the process of cooling and solidification,heat is transferred between the mold and the casting,and its temperature changes with time.However,the irregularity of the temperature change and the sequence of solidification of the molten metal result in various unknown defects inside the casting.Traditional manufacturing methods often rely on work experience or analysis of formed castings to determine the accuracy of the casting process taken,which not only increases manufacturing costs but also delays the manufacturing cycle.Nowadays,with the continuous improvement of the computer level,the use of numerical simulation software can quickly and intuitively see the filling solidification process,the temperature change process,and the gas flow process of castings,so as to find the location of the casting defects and analyze the defect formation mechanism,provide reference for the production or modification of the mold,so as to quickly produce high-quality products.The main research results of this topic are as follows:1.According to the product structure characteristics of the pump body,combined with the casting process,through the look-up table method and the formula method,three different casting systems were designed using UG NX10.0 software.2.Study the main functions of each module of the pre-processing of the Pro CAST software,understand the links between different modules,in-depth study of the parameter settings of each module and its impact on the simulation results.Determine the UG NX10.0 software and Pro CAST software interface,and finally use the IGS format file to import the Mesh CAST module in Pro CAST to split the surface mesh and volume mesh.Calculate through the Pro CAST software Data CAST module and get the simulation result.3.Simulate the castings produced by different processes using simulation software for multiple numerical simulations,predict the process of air discharge in the mold,predict the stability of the molten metal in the mold filling process,predict shrinkage defects and obtain shape Complete metal castings.By predicting the temperature change and filling process of metal castings,a low-pressure casting system was selected.The casting material was ZL101 alloy,the casting temperature was 700°C,the mold material was H13 mold steel,the initial temperature of the mold was 200°C,and the heat transfer coefficient of the casting was H When 3000W/M2·K is obtained,the simulation result is optimal,and this data is used for actual production.4.Trial production of metal gravity casting and low pressure casting.Through contrast,the external surface of the casting is completely clear after low pressure casting process.After the separation,there are few internal defects;sampling observation,the microstructure is more dense,and the quality meets the requirements.
