Objective: Trifluorobromomethane is a cheap and readily available chemical material,but it as a trifluoromethylation agent is rarely reported.Therefore,we hope to develop a method for the introduction of trifluoromethyl with the cheap trifluorobromomethane.Methods: This paper used cheap trifluorobromomethane as a trifluoromethylated reagent,[Ir] as a photocatalyst in visible light to achieve hydrotrifluoromethylation of alkene and alkyne.Result: We have successfully developed a method of trifluoromethylation with trifluorobromomethane for alkene and alkyne.The method of our development with mild reaction conditions and good substrate universality,the preliminary mechanism study showed that trifluoromethyl radicals were produced during the reaction.
