The pursuit of the structure lose weight is always the aerospace companies important unremitting tasks today.At the same time,the new composite material stand out,and one of the most prominent material is the honeycomb composite material,because of its good environmental characteristics,high stiffness,high strength and other characteristics,so that it can be widely used in the external structure and the internal structure of the main load bearing structure in various types of aircraft.In the progress of reducing the weight of the honeycomb composite structure,different panels have different mechanical properties.And the mechanical properties of the different sandwich layers are often be followed with interest.In particular,the defects are difficult to avoid of honeycomb composite core materials in the manufacturing process,these problems are people concerned and focused to solve.So the study of the mechanical properties of the honeycomb core structure,as well as the manufacturing process of the defect problem analysis has become extraordinary.This paper focuses on the composite honeycomb sandwich structure as the experimental subject.Based on the mechanics theory of sandwich structure,implement the experiments and numerical simulation analysis of its structure,compressive performance and three-point bending mechanical properties.The three-point bending performance experiment was carried out according to the bending direction of the honeycomb core hole and the different thickness honeycomb sandwich panel.The failure mode,the maximum load and the overall load of the honeycomb core were analyzed by the finite element numerical simulation technique.And have been confirmed the reliability of finite element simulation technology compared with the actual experiment.The influence of bending orientation and thickness of honeycomb core on the performance of honeycomb structure is obtained.The thicker the panel,the low risk of its structure break,and the final failure mode is the honeycomb shear failure.Through the compression experiment of honeycomb sandwich panels,to study honeycomb core sandwich panel structure.So as to obtain its displacement-load curve and obvious three stages of loading process,that is: elastic section,plastic collapse and dense stage.Finally,study the curing process of honeycomb sandwich material in autoclave,according to the manufacturing process,and analyze the potential defects factors gradually.Design and analysis the bending performance of the honeycomb sandwich material with defects,and the bending performance influence of two different layup methods of the honeycomb sandwich material.Finally,discussed the defects in the production practice,and study the method to reduce the defects rate.
