Solid-liquid phase equilibrium play an important role in chemical thermodynamics, and it is the theoretical support and foundation of industrial crystallization technology. However, its current development status still remains at the initial stage of theoretical analysis, data accumulation, and model establishment.Meanwhile,it faces a series of problems such as a large number of blank databases, imperfect assessment systems, and traditional measurement methods, etc.which hinder the rapid development of this field. This paper aim at starting from solving the above problems. In this study, the solubility of four solid organics of 2-Chlorophenylacetic acid,4-Chlorophenylacetic acid,4-Methoxyphenylacetic acid and Raspberry Ketone in various pure solvents and binary mixed solvents were determined by static equilibrium method. Moreover, thermodynamic analysis and dissolution mechanism were performed on the dissolution process, and solubility data was correlated by seven models. Its core work includes as follows:(1)Draw solubility curves and analyze the solubility of compouds, summarize the dissolution rules of four solid organics in the target solvents, and found that it follows the "like dissolves like" rule,"Solvation law",and"solubility of functional groups" rule.(2)The thermodynamic parameters of the dissolution enthalpy, the dissolution entropy and Gibbs free energy were calculated by using thermodynamic models. And it concluded that the dissolution process of four solid organics in selected solvents were endothermic and spontaneous.Furthermore, the dissolution enthalpy was the main contributor during the dissolution process. The most important conclusion is that the results of thermodynamic analysis and solubility analysis verified the accuracy of each other.(3)The three empirical equation(Modified Apelblat equation,Van't Hoff equation,?h equation),and three activity coefficient equation(Wilson model,NRTL model,UNIQUAC model)and the modified JA-Van't Hoff model were used to correlate the solubility data of the four solid organics. It is found that Modified Apelblat equation and Van't Hoff equation have universal applicability, and the average relative deviation is less than 1%,while the application of three activity coefficient equation and modified JA-Van't Hoff model were worse, which show good applicability with the average relative deviation fluctuate between 2-3%.The main innovation of this paper is the earlier study of the solid-liquid phase equilibrium of phenylacetic acid derivatives and aryl ketone derivatives. In addition, the experimental method on study of the mixed solvents with the combination of "excellent solvent","good solvent",and "inferior solvent"were proposed for the first time, and successfully applied, and obtained the conclusions.Besides, the JA-Van't Hoff model was deduced to correlate the experimental data, whose conclusion proves that the experimental data is highly consistent with the calculated data with a small average relative deviation, and it can be used for data correlation and interpolation of experimental objects. The research results of this paper can fill the blank databases in the field of solid-liquid phase equilibrium, provide theoretical basis and data support for the four solid organics in industrial crystallization technology,so as to make the production more pure, greenization, and sustainability. It is of great significance to promote the development of solid-liquid phase equilibrium to the direction of high efficiency, systematization, and comprehensive production.
