The high speed rail network occupies a large proportion in China’s transportation system.In recent years,with the great-leap-forward development of China’s high speed rail,more and more cities and regions are covered,and more people began to choose high speed rail for travel.Large railway passenger station play an important role in connecting urban traffic and railway network traffic,it is facing with more heavy pressure of pedestrian flow.In recent years,the newly built important railway passenger stations in China is in large scale of floor area which has complex structure and large number of facilities and equipments,and it contains large volume of pedestrian flow.The lifes and property of pedestrians will be hurt if there occurs emergencies in the station,it may even lead to serious accidents if the pedestrian in station are not evacuated in time.It is conducive to improving the response capability of the passenger station facing with emergencies and better ensuring pedestrian safety in the station by studying emergency evacuation simulation of large railway passenger station and analysing problems in the process of evacuationThis paper summarizes the research status of pedestrian evacuation in China and abroad,and also summarized the development of the pedestrian flow simulation software.On this basis,the types and characteristics of emergencies in large railway passenger stations are analyzed,and the main three factors affecting the evacuation efficiency are also determined,they are the space structure of the station,the pedestrian facilities and the pedestrian behavior.After that,this paper analyzed the space structure characteristics of passenger stations and the traffic capacity of facilities and equipments.At the same time,the time conditions that should be met in the evacuation process are also been studied.In the aspect of pedestrian behavior,on the consideration of physical and psychological factors of pedestrians,this paper analyzed the effects of different conditions of pedestrians on the ability of action,and discusses the behavior characteristics of pedestrians in the process of evacuation,such as companions,carrying luggage and panic in the process of evacuation.Based on the social force model,the pedestrian evacuation simulation model is studied on the basis of Anylogic simulation software.Taking the behavior characteristics of pedestrians in the evacuation process as the emphases,the evacuation model is optimized,and the classification scheme of pedestrian service level is analyzed.Finally,this paper selected actual cases to build simulation models and conduct evacuation simulation experiments.Based on the research of simulation method of emergency evacuation based on pedestrian behavior characteristics.This paper selected NanJing south station’s waiting room as an example to carry out simulation experiments.The experimental results show that the emergency evacuation efficiency is generally high,but there are still some problems existed in the evacuation process,and there is room for further improvement.The research results in this paper can provide reference for the related evacuation simulation research and the evacuation organization of NanJing south station.
