Chromatography technology is a common and effective separation technology, and it has a wide range of applications in analysis, separation and purification.Liquid chromatography and gas chromatography are two very important parts of chromatographic technology. As the most important part of the chromatography system, the performance of the column plays a decisive role in the effectiveness of the separation analysis. However, the performance of common columns has several disadvantages. For example,a long analysis time will greatly affect the convenience of the analysis process. Therefore, the rise of monolithic materials with better porosity provides entirely new possibilities for columns. In this article,we prepare types of monolithic columns suitable for liquid chromatography and gas chromatography which have high selectivity and efficiency. The research in this paper mainly includes:(1)Preparation of DVB-styrene monolithic column by thermal initiation polymerization and high-efficiency separation of different sample groups.(2)DVB-methylstyrene monolithic column was prepared by changing the type of polymerized monomers, and post-treatment oxidation changed the affinity of the column, resulting in higher separation efficiency and faster analyzing speed.(3)The MOF-doped EDMA-GMA monolithic column was prepared, and the separation of benzene and its homologues proved that the microporous structure of MOF material can enhance the ability of the monolithic column to separate small molecules.(4)The double-bond MOF which can be used as cross-linking agent was synthesized and a new type of poly-MOF hydrogel monolith was prepared, and the physical adsorption capacity of the dye molecule was achieved.
