Homochiral metal-organic framework material has the advantages of diverse pores,abundant chiral sites and good thermal stability,which made it great promise for applications in new gas chromatography chiral stationary phase.Homochiral metal-organic framework is mainly used for asymmetric catalysis and chiral separation.Currently,homochiral metal-organic framework for the gas chromatographic chiral stationary phase is few.It is crucial to develop a new type of chiral MOF GC stationary phase.In this study,three kinds of chiral ligands were synthesized by multi-step synthesis with L-phenylalanine,L-isoleucine,L-proline as the chiral source and trimeric acid as the carrier.The paper mainly has three aspects as following:?1?Direct synthesis method is adopted,using L-phenylalanine containing phenyl group as the chiral source and trimesic acid as the carrier to synthesize a homochiral ligand 5-??1-carboxy-2-phenylethyl?Carbamoyl?isophthalic acid.A new blue flaky single crystal was obtained by hydrothermal reaction with the ligand Cu?NO3?2·3H2O.This chiral MOF materials were used as chiral stationary phases for gas chromatography,prepared as capillary columns,and the separation performance of the chromatography columns was investigated.The results show that the mixed n-alkanes(C10-C15)and Grob reagent have a good separation ability on this capillary column.Isomers of nitrotoluene and chlorotoluene also have a certain separation ability.The capillary column offers good selectivity recognition ability for chiral racematescontaining phenyl or part of which can form?bond,but linear hydrocarbon chiralcompounds can hardly achieve effective separation.This method that chiral MOF using L-phenylalanine as a chiral source is used as chiral stationary phase for gas chromatography is the first time be implemented.?2?In order to test whether different chiral sources affect chiral separation results,linear hydrocarbon L-isoleucine was chosen as the chiral source and trimeric acid as the carrier to synthesize a single chiral ligand 5-??1-Carboxy-2-methylbutyl?carbamoyl?isophthalic acid.A new blue octahedral single crystal was obtained by hydrothermal reaction with the ligand Cu?NO3?2·3 H2O.This chiral MOF material was applied to gas chromatographic chiral stationary phase,dynamically coated to prepare a capillary column,and the separation performance of the chromatography column was investigated.The results show that the mixed n-alkanes(C10-C15)and Grob reagent have a good separation ability on the capillary column.The capillary column offersgood separation for chiral racemates containing phenyl or part of which can form?bond,and has poor resolution of linear hydrocarbon chiral compounds.This method that chiral MOF using L-isoleucine as a chiral source is used as chiral stationary phase for gas chromatography is the first time be implemented.?3?L-proline containing pyrrole ring was selected as the chiral source to synthesize a single chiral ligand 5-?2-carboxypyrrolidine-1-carbonyl?isophthalic acid.A new blue flaky single crystal was obtained by hydrothermal reaction with the ligand Cu?NO3?2·3 H2O.This chiral MOF material was applied to gas chromatographic chiral stationary phase,dynamically coated to prepare a capillary column,and the separation performance of the chromatography column was investigated.The results show that the obtained different chiral ligands by changing the amino acids with different polarities and functional groups as the chiral source,with trimeric acid as the carrier can achieve chiral separation.This kind of chiral MOF materials is proved have application potential in chiral separation.The results show that the obtained of different ligands can achieve similarly chiral separation consequence by changing amino acids with different polarities and functional groups as chiral sources.
