With the increasing awareness of environmental protection,water-based coatings will certainly be used to remove oil-based paints.This requires the improvement of the performance of water-based paints and the reduction of costs.The addition of anti-corrosive pigments to waterborne coatings not only drastically reduces the cost of the coating,but also improves the anti-corrosion performance of the coating.Because the pigment filler is an inorganic powder,it is difficult to disperse in water,and there is a phase interface problem in the coating,so that the corrosion particles can reach the surface of the metal substrate through the interface channels,causing metal corrosion.In order to solve this problem,the aminosilane coupling agent was introduced to surface-modify the pigment filler so that it can be well dispersed in the water,so that the coating is smooth and uniform,dense,and has high corrosion resistance.The aminosilane coupling agent has an amino group and an alkoxy group,the amino group can be connected to the water phase,and the alkoxy group can be connected to the inorganic powder to improve the anticorrosion performance of the water-based paint.In this paper,starting from the surface modification of pigment fillers,it was proved that the inorganic powder and aminosilane coupling agent formed a solid chemical bond,and then the pigment filler after modification was formulated into a color paste with good storage stability,and then it was formulated well.The paste is added to the paint and formulated into a water-based paint that has both good storage stability and excellent anti-corrosion properties.The main findings of this paper are as follows:In a high-speed mixer,mixing was performed by a spray method,and talc was modified in various proportions using an aminosilane coupling agent.The modified powders were then tested by scanning electron microscopy(SEM),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),and other instruments.Direct and indirect tests were used in combination to demonstrate the coupling of powders with aminosilanes.Chemical bonds are formed between the agents,and the chemical bonds are firm and stable.By adjusting the amount of water added,the type and amount of additives,solid content,fineness,etc.,the modified talc powder is formulated into a high-concentration,low-fineness color paste to obtain the best color paste formulation for easy storage and use.The modified talc powder is compounded with zinc phosphate,zinc molybdate,micaceous iron oxide red,modified aluminum tripolyphosphate,and the pigment,filler,solid content,and fineness are adjusted to high Solid,low-fine color paste for the best color paste formula,easy to store and use.The five pigment fillers are mixed and modified to form a high-solid,low-fine color paste to obtain the best colorant formula for storage and use.The above three types of color pastes were formulated into water-based paints with excellent anti-corrosion properties to obtain the best formula for color paints.Through a series of tests,including physical performance tests and chemical performance tests,the differences in the anti-corrosion performance of different aminosilane coupling agents and different modified proportions of color paints were examined.The EIS test was performed on the modified white paint,combined with a comprehensive analysis of bode,nyquist,and script diagrams to obtain the optimum modification ratio of different aminosilane coupling agents,among which:The pigment filler modified by KH550 had the best modification ratio of 0.5%,improved the deionized water resistance of the colored paint film by 2 times,and improved the salt resistance by 3.6 times.The pigment filler modified by KH792 has the best modification ratio of 0.5%,improves the deionized water resistance of the paint film by 4.5 times,salt solution resistance by more than 50 times,and salt spray resistance by 1.75 times.;Aminoethylaminoethylaminopropyltrimethoxysilane modified pigment filler with the best modification ratio of 2.0%,improved the deionized water resistance of the pigmented paint film by a factor of 2,improved the salt solution resistance.More than 50 times,salt spray resistance increased by 1.75 times.Then through a single modified red paint inspection,found that KH550 modified pigment filler,with a modification ratio of 0.5%best,KH792 modified pigment filler with a modification ratio of 0.5%best,ammonia B Based on aminoethylaminopropyltrimethoxysilane modified pigment,the best modification ratio is 2.0%.In summary,it can be found that the comprehensive modification effect of KH792 is best compared with the unmodified and other two modification effects.
