In recent years,with the continuous progress of science and technology and the continuous development of social production,the development of mechanical cover parts and machining molds is still an important part of the manufacturing industry.For high quality requirements,the main focus is on the surface conditions and quality of the processed products,especially the appearance,performance and reliability of the product,which are often affected by the surface roughness of the parts.Importantly,good machined surfaces can significantly improve fatigue strength,corrosion resistance and creep life.Because people have put forward more and more demands on the intelligent processing of mechanical products,the influence of the selection of processing parameters on the surface roughness of the machined workpiece in the process of processing is the most important problem.Because the selection of processing parameters will have a great influence on the surface quality of the machined parts,it is a crucial problem to analyze and predict the effect of processing parameters on the surface roughness of the machined workpiece,which is a crucial problem in the 5-axis machining process.Based on the latest research results at home and abroad,the influence of five axis machining parameters on the surface roughness of 45 steel is studied in this paper.In the processing experiment,the influence of each processing parameter on the surface roughness of #45 is analyzed firstly,so as to show its influence on the surface roughness.Then in order to select the best combination of the processing parameters for the surface roughness of #45,this paper adopts a method of optimizing the machining parameters that can be achieved in the five axis machining process.The Taguchi experimental method is an effective method to optimize the processing parameters.The four response variables selected in this paper include the cutting feed rate,the cutting depth and the angle of the cutter axis.The experimental results show that the cutting feed rate is the biggest processing parameter affecting the surface roughness of #45.Subsequently,machining spacing and cutting depth,and the influence of tool axis inclination on the surface roughness of five axis #45 steel is not statistically significant.
