In the process of oilfield drilling operations,rountrip of oil tube or drill pipe must be executed frequently,and the main action of rountrip is string the screw buckled and shackle.Therefore,the process of the string the screw buckled and shackle have a direct effect on the construction of drilling or workover operations.Hydraulic power tongs and iron roughers are the main equipment for string the screw buckled and shackle in the oil field operation.However,the hydraulic power tongs need to replace the corresponding dental plates for different clamping pipe diameters and the replacement process is complicated.The existing iron roughers spinner device work on the drill pipe part of the drill pipe during the working process which is easy to cause extrusion damage to the drill pipe.In this paper,an improved iron roughneck equipment is designed which has improved the clamp damage on the drill pipe,combined with full hydraulic power system.It can improve the service life of drill pipe and reduce the working intensity of construction personnel.According to the literature at home and abroad about the iron roughneck making a summarize on the development situation of the iron roughneck.In addition,compared with the operating characteristics of the hydraulic power pliers and the existing iron drillers,this paper improved the existing iron drillers and designed a new iron drillers equipment.The main contents are as follows:According to the technical requirements of the project and the operating characteristics of the drilling workers,the overall structural plan of the new drilling workers is determined.Based on the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages for the pipe string clamping structure,punch and screw structure of the existing iron drillers,a new clamping structure of iron roughneck has been designed.Both the punch and the screw action of the clamp body act on the joint of the drill pipe to avoid the damage of the equipment to the drill pipe.The theoretical analysis of the clamping body and the telescopic arm provides the basis for the subsequent calculation and simulation of relevant selection.A hydraulic control scheme is proposed to realize the interlocking of the punching and turning action.Meanwhile,it is pointed out that when the hydraulic cylinder is clamped back and the angle of the clamping arm is oversize,Therefore,it is proposed to realize the small Angle opening of the clamping arm by using the hydraulic buffer cylinder.Force analysis is carried out on the clamp body mechanism,and the selection and check of hydraulic components and telescopic boom mechanism are calculated.Adams software is used to carry out kinematics and dynamics simulation of the telescopic boom,and the driving hydraulic cylinder is calculated by reverse calculation according to the driving force analysis results.Ansys Workbench software is used to analyze the main stressed components of the iron roughneck,the stress diagram and strain diagram of these components are obtained,and the rationality of the structure design is analyzed.The test and assembly of the iron roughneck and its functional commissioning test are completed.The rationality of structure design,the principle of the hydraulic circuit,the selection of components and the result of the simulation analysis are further verified.
