The tailings reservoir is a kind of special hydraulic structure,which is also an important dangerous source and source of pollution in safety and environmental protection.Which safe operation is of great significance to the mine and is directly related to the safety of the downstream residents and the safety of the public facilities.As an important facility for safe production of mines,a large amount of tailings sand and water is stored in the tailings reservoir dam body.According to the occurrence of tailings dam break,most of the damage is related to water,and the problems caused by seepage are complicated.In a word,seepage in the dam body is one of the important factors affecting the safety and stability of tailings reservoir.At present,the study on the seepage field of tailings reservoir is very fruitful,but most of them are obtained by numerical simulation,while the study on model test is relatively few.Based on the model test,this paper made an indoor model study on the seepage field of tailings reservoir,analyzed the distribution law of seepage field deeply,got the location of seepage line,and study the seepage field by the numerical simulation.The main research contents and results are as follows:(1)To summarize the tailings research methods and research progress at home and abroad,the basic characteristics of seepage field of comprehensive summary of the tailings.And with the model test and numerical simulation as the breakthrough point,this paper introduces technology of building dam and seepage theory.Based on the basic theory of seepage flow and the principle of finite element method,the basic differential equation of three dimensional seepage flow and its definite conditions are expounded.(2)The selection of model sand is carried out on the basis of similarity theory,and its physical and physical properties are determined.(3)Summarizing the factors affecting the seepage field of tailings reservoir,taking two-dimensional seepage field as an example,the model test of influencing factors of the seepage field of tailings reservoir is carried out according to the basic profile of tailings reservoir in the multi-functional geo test tank.The influence of the initial dam permeability,tailings dry bank length and the downstream slope of tailings accumulation dam on the seepage field was studied by model test.(4)Based on a tailings reservoir in Chengde City,a model test was carried out to measure the distribution of the seepage line,and compared with the three-dimensional numerical simulation results and the field measurements.The results of the study show that the results obtained by numerical simulation agree with the actual situation in the field,and the results obtained by the model test are more consistent with the actual situation.Therefore,the correct and reasonable model test can provide important basis for the design and operation of tailings reservoir.
