Aiming at the problem of low efficiency of particles and bubbles collision detection in mineral flotation,an improved particles and bubbles collision probability test system is proposed.In this paper,the design of the peristaltic pump control subsystem and the image detection subsystem are designed to improve the automation degree of the whole system.In addition,three collision detection methods are proposed to improve the detection efficiency and control accuracy in various experimental environments.First of all,in view of the problem that the traditional test system can only rely on the extrusion head dropper,the peristaltic pump control feeding subsystem is set up.This system adopts closed loop control mode,the peristaltic pump is regulated by a given flow rate,the flow sensor produces detection signal in the form of negative feedback to the microcontroller and then transmitted to the host computer.The upper computer is written by Lab VIEW.The low-pass Butterworth filter is added into the flow measurement sub VI to filter the signal which takes into account the unstable data collected.Then it designs static image processing subsystem and video processing subsystem.The static image processing applies image pre-processing,mathematical morphology,wavelet denoising and Otsu segmentation algorithm based on genetic algorithm to detect collision.Video sequence processing applies the frame difference method to track the motion detection and fuses Mean Shift algorithm and particle filter algorithm to track the whereabouts of the particles accurately.Finally,in view of the problem that it can not be detected by single CCD camera on the camera surface or the back,two cameras are added.In order to make the algorithm applicable to the improved system,the matching method is designed from the aspects of video sequence acquisition,double videos tracking and collision detection.Experimental results show that the improved test system can greatly improve the efficiency of the experiment,and the three detection methods can detect collision quickly and efficiently in a variety of experimental environments.
