As an important chemical raw material and intermediate, aromatic amines are used in the production of dyes and textiles, food packaging materials, pesticides, daily chemical products, and rubber. These chemical products are directly discharged into the environment during the production process or due to the degradation of azo dyes and pesticides will cause serious pollution to the environment, and will seriously endanger human health due to its toxicity and carcinogenicity. Most of the aromatic amine compounds exist as isomers, and structural isomers have similar characteristics between the isomers and cannot be completely separated in the chromatogram. The same molecular weight of isomers makes it impossible to achieve complete differentiation in mass spectrometry, which brings many difficulties and challenges to many analysts. In this paper, methylaniline, methoxyaniline, dimethylaniline, chloroaniline, diaminotoluene and their isomers were taken as the research object, and an efficient, rapid and accurate method was established to distinguish and quantify the isomers.method.The specific content includes the following three parts:1.Differentiation of isomeric methylanilines by imidization and gas chromatography/mass spectrometry analysisThe three isomers of methylaniline were studied, and benzaldehyde was used as the derivatization reagent. The three isomers could be rapidly and completely converted into N-benzylidene-methylaniline.The derivatization method showed good results. The reproducibility and stability of the three isomeric imidization products can be achieved by GC separation and mass spectrometry to achieve oncogenic o-toluidine and non-oncogenic isoforms by EI-MS mass spectrometry.2.Simultaneous determination of isomeric substituted anilines by imidization with benzaldehyde and gas chromatography–mass spectrometryOn the basis of the derivatization methods established in Chapter 1,we still use benzaldehyde as a derivatization reagent, using methylaniline, methoxyaniline, dimethylaniline, chloroaniline and its isomers in a total of 15 aromatic amines.Amine compounds are the subjects of study. The complete chromatographic separation of 15 aromatic amine isomers was achieved by imidization, and the established method was applied to the quantitative analysis of aromatic amine isomers in surface water.3.Quantitative analysis of diaminotoluene isomers by imidization combined with UPLC-MSBased on the content of the previous two chapters,we used diaminotoluene isomers as the research object.Since diaminotoluene contains two-NH2,we optimized it based on the derivatization method we established before.Suitable for derivatization of diaminotoluene. The chromatographic separation of five isomers of diaminotoluene was achieved, and this method was applied to the simultaneous quantitative analysis of 2,4-diaminotoluene isomers in food packaging materials.
