Silicone additives which are known as"industrial monosodium glutamate"are increasingly used in the plastics processing industry in order to improve the performance of plastic materials from a series of processes of polymer synthesis,compounding and manufacturing.This paper has synthesized a new type of polysiloxane modified auxiliaries,and it was first applied to linear low density polyethylene?LLDPE?/magnesium hydroxide?Mg?OH?2?MH?/microencapsulated red phosphorus?MRP?systems to study its lubricating properties.and the effect of synergistic flame retardant properties in the composite system;secondly it is applied in polypropylene?PP?/ethylene octene copolymer?POE?/talc?TD?/ethylene octene copolymer grafted maleic anhydride?POE-g-MAH?system,the effects of scratch resistance and lubricating properties on the composite system are mainly studied.In this paper,we use hydrogenated polymethylsiloxane?PDMS-co-PHMS?with a hydrogen content of 0.25%and molecular weights of 8.0×103,3.5×104,and 6.8×104,react with 1-dodecene and propyl glycidyl ether through alkene hydrosilylation to give a colorless,transparent and thick DESO with molecular weights of 1.0×104,5.0×104,and 1.0×105,with a Si-H bond conversion rate of over 90%,The structure of the product was characterized by1H-NMR and FT-IR.Meanwhile,the Si-H bond disappeared.The dodecyl(-?CH2?11CH3)and propyl glycidyl ether groups were successfully connected to the PDMS-co-PHMS backbone.The melt flow rate of LLDPE/MH/MRP blend system that added DESO is higher than that of PAMS,EMSO and PDMS,and the balance torque is low.This shows that the addition of DESO can significantly improve the processing fluidity of the system and reduce the processing difficulty;LLDPE/MH/MRP does not reach the V-0 level,while systems with DESO,PAMS,EMSO,and PDMS added have achieved V-0 levels,indicating that silicone oils have good synergies with hydroxides and microencapsulated red phosphorus.Adding1wt%DESO can increase the elongation at break of LLDPE/MH/MRP from 31%to 168%,and the notched impact strength from 42.0 J/m to 54.2 J/m,which is more obvious than the toughening effect of adding PAMS,EMSO and PDMS.It may be that DESO can reduce the interaction between molecular chains,thereby increasing the mobility of LLDPE molecular chains.The addition of 1.0×104,5.0×104,and 1.0×105 DESO can significantly improve the scratch resistance of the PP/POE/TD/POE-g-MAHsystem,the speed of 1.0×104DESO is faster than the higher molecular weight of DESO migrates to the surface.Obviously,it can improve the scratch resistance of composite materials.The melt flow rates and impact toughness of each PP/POE/TD/POE-g-MAH with different molecular weights of DESO were modified.Among them,1.0×104 DESO had the greatest effect on improving the melt flow rate;5.0×104DESO on notched impact strength.The most obvious increase is that the notched impact strength of the composite system can be increased from 8.0 J/m to 13.0 J/m,while the tensile strength and bending strength are reduced.Therefore,when the dodecyl epoxy polysiloxane is used as a low-cost anti-scratch aid to prepare the modified polypropylene material,it has good mechanical properties,excellent scratch resistance and good stability,at the same time,it has a very good application prospects in the field of automotive interiors.
