EDM technology is widely used in various fields of industrial production and life because of its wide range of materials for cutting,processing of parts and surface complexity and diversity.Graphite has high temperature resistance(boiling point 4250°C),good electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity,low loss and good chemical stability,etc.It is widely used in EDM processing,and Toyo Graphite TTK-5 is based on its small particle size.The superior performance in terms of strength,wear resistance and wear resistance are used in the machining of ultra-precision EDM tooling.Based on the original micro-EDM wire cutting,the subject performs on-line preparation of the graphite spinning disk electrode by grinding and rotating the lower wire electrode grinding,and then uses the processed graphite spinning disk electrode to perform EDM grinding on the titanium alloy(TC4).The effects of various parameters on the processing efficiency and processing accuracy of the graphite spinning disk electrode preparation and the effects of the graphite spinning disk electrode on the processing efficiency,processing accuracy and electrode loss of the titanium alloy(TC4)under different electrical parameters were studied.To realize the high-precision preparation of graphite spinning disk electrode and its effective and stable application.In order to realize the stable processing of the titanium alloy(TC4)by the processed spinning disk electrode,a set of indexing device must be built on the basis of the original micro-EDM wire-cutting machine to control it with a single-chip microcomputer.It realizes indexing function and combines the original X/Y axis motion trajectory to achieve on-line processing.Using single-factor experiments,the effects of main non-electrical parameters(spindle speed,wire tension)and electrical parameters(open circuit voltage,servo reference,pulse width,and charge capacitance)on machining efficiency and machining accuracy were studied.In order to explore the influence of the interaction between various parameters on the response indicators,an orthogonal test was planned,and the influence of five parameters was explored using an orthogonal table to achieve the high efficiency and high efficiency of the spindle rotation electrodeless grinding graphite electrode Precision machining.Based on the construction of the indexing device and the original micro-EDM machine tool,the titanium alloy(TC4)was machined by electric disk grinding with a graphite spinning disk electrode,and the single parameters experiment was performed by changing the different electrical parameters.Each parameter was explored.The influence of processing efficiency and processing accuracy,while changing the polarity of different processing,using different shapes of graphite spinning disk electrode processing titanium alloy to explore the electrode loss under different blade width,when the process parameters are controlled reasonably,can achieve low loss and high precision Processing.
