Since twenty-first Century,the production of continuous casting billets has been developing rapidly in china.In 2013,China's continuous casting billets production reached 766.24 million tons.However,the quality of continuous casting slab determines the quality of hot rolled strip products.There are many kinds of defects in continuous casting billet.The "burr" at the ends of the slab is one of the defects.A burr is a raised edge or small pieces of material remaining attached to a billet after flame cutting.In the cutting section,the molten metal will form a high hardness metal melt at the end of the slab.If the burr is not removed,the defect will have a bad effect on the roller,the blooming mill and the final product quality.At present,both domestic and foreign steel mills will set up deburring processes before continuous casting slab is rolled into hot rolling process.Some of them are using manual clean,while others are equipped with special equipment to remove burrs.The deburrer for continuous casting slab can be divided into three types: fixed scraper type deburring machine,rotary hammer deburring machine and disc scraper deburring machine.However,no matter what kind of deburring equipment,it is basically installed in the narrow roller table below 3m.There are no relevant examples at home and abroad for the deburrer which applies the roller width of 5m,and the length of the slab is shorter and the weight is lighter.The basic working conditions of 4700 mm heavy plate project of Nanjing iron and steel Limited by Share Ltd are: roller width is 5m,roll spacing is 750 mm,continuous casting slab length is 2500mm~4500mm,slab weight is 5.25t~32t.In this paper,according to the requirements of the 4700 mm heavy plate project of Nanjing Iron and Steel Co.,Ltd.,the continuous casting slab deburring equipment advantages and disadvantages of both at home and abroad are analyzed in detail.We establish the suitable structure of width roller small slab deburring machine,based on the structure of disc scraper deburring machine.According to the technical requirements of Nangang 4700 mm heavy plate project,the mechanical structure of deburring machine and pneumatic system are designed,and making a finite element analysis of the key parts of the deburring machine by using INVENTOR software for optimizing the structure of the equipment,improving the structural strength and cutting down the operation cost.based on the PLC,electrical control system of the deburring machine are designed.In the commissioning process,the control parameters are improved,and the operation accuracy of the equipment is improved.In the commissioning process,the problem of lifting of the disc scraper is solved.Finally,completing the development of wide roller small slab deburring machine.
