Whether human beings or various living things are both organic whole in nature,even the ecological environment in which we live.All kinds of activities within a cell,from microcosmic point of view,are not an independent existence,but a complete reaction network.And the reaction network is not linear superposition of each part,there is some unknown “programming code” among them.When focusing on studying and cracking the "programming code”,people have also begun to make their way to design and synthesize some artificial chemical reaction networksThe emergence of DNA nanotechnology makes the construction of artificial chemical reaction networks a reality.Especially the introduction of the strand displacement reaction,a variety of chemical reaction networks have been built such as DNA nanomachines,DNA logic circuits,and DNA neuron networks.However,the traditional way of regulating the DNA strand displacement reaction has some limitations,which is difficult to achieve fine tuning,and also hard to control the reaction system continuously,dynamically,and programmatically.Thus,we improved the design of the traditional DNA strand displacement reaction,a brand new chain displacement reaction driven by intramolecular conformation was proposed.The influencing factors,the regulating range,and the mechanism of the reaction were studied through a series of experiments,the dynamic and continuous regulation was also repeatedly tested,and it was applied to single-base mutation detection.The results showed that the method,stable and reliable,could regulate and control the reaction system dynamically and continuously.This design enriched the basic regulatory tool in the field of dynamic DNA nanotechnology.Finally,we designed a pragramming chemical reaction network using the chain displacement reaction driven by conformation,and realized the pragramming design of multiple input AND gates and voting machines.The results showed that chain displacement reaction driven by the conformation could be designed programmatically to build a complex chemical reaction network.
