Functional textiles have attracted wide attention since its research.Among them,self-cleaning fabric can effectively save manpower and resources,reduce the environmental pollution caused by cleaning and so on,and can prevent many pollutants that may cause harm to the human body.However,there is no mature self-cleaning fabric yet,therefore,the research and development of self cleaning textiles is very necessary and significant,and has broad application prospects.At present,because of good photocatalytic reaction,nano TiO2 is used more in the development of self cleaning products.The traditional finishing methods can not be introduced into the interior of the fabric,which will affect the self cleaning effect of the fabric.Therefore,this topic combines nanotechnology with ultrasonic technology,the ultrasonic method is used to make the nano TiO2 on the cotton fabric by using the ultrasonic cavitation effect and the unique sound pressure,so that the nanoparticles can be firmly attached to the yarn even between the yarn and fiber and fiber,thus preparing from the clean cotton fabric.By controlling the different variables of the experimental conditions,the samples of different conditions were obtained,and the related properties were tested to find the effects of different ultrasonic conditions on the fabric properties.Secondly,through coupling modification and UV curing method,nano TiO2 particles are better loaded on cotton fabrics to improve their fastness.In addition,since there are no unified standards for the inspection of self cleaning effects and some existing inspection methods are relatively complex,a set of unique self cleaning evaluation methods has been established to detect the photocatalytic self cleaning effect of the sample.Through the study,it is found that two new methods of photocatalytic self cleaning evaluation:UV oxidation color chameleon test method and Atmotube air quality test method,the cotton fabric has excellent photocatalytic performance after nanometer TiO2 finishing.It has a certain self cleaning effect,and with the concentration of nano titanium dioxide and the ultrasonic wave.The better the effect of photocatalytic self cleaning.In addition,the cotton fabric after nanoscale formation has formed a hydrophobic surface that can block some liquid contaminants,and the UV protection,anti pilling performance and air permeability of the cotton fabric are improved,although the mechanical properties and antistatic effects of the fabric are reduced,but in general,through nano After finishing,the surface and physical properties of fabrics are improved.Finally,the loading rate of nano particles on cotton fabric was improved by adding coupling agent and UV curing method,which could improve the water resistance of self cleaning cotton fabric.
