Currently, most of the teeth of Picks at home and abroad use alloy steel as raw materials. However, due to the material exposed to a serious problem in the actual working conditions is a short life, weak resistance to wear, reliability is not high,so the comprehensive mechanical properties of alloy steel materials need to be further improved.Manufacturing industry generally uses traditional heat treatment methods to improve the mechanical properties and wear resistance of alloy steel.Cryogenic treatment is a new type of material processing technology.Although it is still in the development stage, but the results generally indicate cryogenic treatment can improve the performance of the material. This paper takes 42 CrMo,35CrMnSiA,35 SiMnMo alloy steel as the research object, takes the cryogenic temperature and the cryogenic times as two influencing factors, formulates the research process of this experiment, the purpose is to study the different cryogenic treatment process for 42 CrMo,35CrMnSiA,35 SiMnMo alloy steel. The effect of wear resistance and the mechanism of action. The main research content is as follows:(1)This paper selected 42 CrMo,35CrMnSiA,35 SiMnMo alloy steel as the research object, and used two factors:cryogenic temperature(-80°C and-160°C)and deep cryogenic times(1 time and 3 times)as variables to formulated cryogenic temperature process. The effects of different cryogenic temperatures and cryogenic treatment times on the hardness, impact toughness, and wear resistance of the three kinds of alloy steels were investigated. The results show that the wear resistance of 42 CrMo alloy steel samples after cryogenic treatment at-160°C increased to 1.35 times;the wear resistance of 35 CrMnSiA alloy steels after three times cryogenic treatments at-80°C was the best, which was 1.29 times that of the comparative specimens.Cryogenic treatment makes 35 SiMnMo material's wear resistance lower, and Lowest drop to 0.63 times that of the comparative sample.(2)The fracture surface morphology of cryogenic impact specimens was analyzed, and the morphology and microstructure of the wear scars of the specimens after wear were investigated. The internal phase changes of the specimens after cryogenic treatment were observed by XRD test, and the mechanism of the cryogenic treatment's effect of wear resistance was summarized. The results provide the basis for subsequent research of alloy steels. The observation shows that the wear resistance of the material is mainly related to the thickness of the internal structure of the material and whether there is carbide. The finer and more uniform the sample structure is,the better wear resistance will the material have.Based on the cryogenic treatment technology, this paper studied the wear resistance of 42 CrMo,35CrMnSiA and 35 SiMnMo alloys. The effect of cryogenic treatment on the wear resistance of three materials was obtained, and the mechanism of cryogenic treatment's influence was analyzed by the microstructure. The results of this paper provides some initial basises to the application of cryogenic technology to alloy steel.
