The fluidized bed reactor is commonly used in the preparation of four titanium chloride and chloride were prepared four titanium chloride is an advanced process for production of titanium dioxide,in the preparation of four titanium chloride,titanium slag composition of reactants is demanding,because magnesium oxide content accounted for 90% of domestic titanium reserves of Panzhihua titanium high oxidation in high titanium slag the content of calcium,Magnesium Oxide Panzhihua Titanium Concentrate Smelting in 7-11%,so in the high temperature chlorination of titanium slag,titanium dioxide and chlorine in adverse reaction were also carried out the reaction with calcium oxide,Magnesium Oxide,which will form a cluster in the reaction,the reaction leads to loss of flow.So the study of agglomeration of high titanium slag formed in the high temperature chlorination process in Panzhihua,it is necessary to research the titanium slag particles in molten chloride reaction process caused by the cluster.In this experiment,the reaction temperature and time,carbon ratio,chlorine concentration and particle size of activated carbon on the chlorination process of the formation of agglomerates and the reaction efficiency is greatly influenced by the five factors,orthogonal experimental design,through the study of different reaction conditions of high titanium slag with high temperature chlorination reaction.It is found that in the 800? temperature chlorination reaction does not form aggregates,and the higher the temperature of agglomerates is bigger,longer reaction time,the formation of poly granule size increasing,the higher the concentration of chlorine gas in the reaction process of poly granule size increasing,reaction of activated carbon particle the bigger the size to large clusters generated in the reaction process,the more Magnesium Oxide reactions were formed in the reaction of clusters is larger.Reaction with higher temperature,longer reaction time,chlorine concentration,high temperature chlorination of titanium dioxide in high titanium slag conversion rate is higher,the greater the size of activated carbon conversion rate is low.The activation energy of chlorination reaction of titanium dioxide in the range of 750-950 DEG C is 50.724kJ/(mol.k).
