Aiming at the problem of cutting and slicing process of the active die pattern circle,the research group proposed a multi-slot synchronous wire-cut WEDM method and developed a corresponding machine tool.This paper optimized and optimized the machine tool structure and developed a special control system.A preliminary process test has laid a good foundation for further follow-up studies.Analyze and summarize the existing defects of the multi-slot machine tool structure and optimize it.In this paper,the cantilever beam structure was used to redesign the guide wheel frame to solve the problem of difficult wire replacement of the electrode wire,which enabled the machine tool to quickly replace the wire,reduce the wire change time,and improve work efficiency.At the same time,an automatic rotating table was designed to facilitate the cutting and cutting of workpieces,which greatly improved the efficiency and accuracy of the cutting and cutting.The constant tension control of the electrode wire was carried out by means of a combination of "weight plus double guide wheel molybdenum wire slack adjuster" to solve the problem of large vibration amplitude of the electrode wire.According to the technological requirements for cutting narrow grooves in multi-grooved synchronous electric discharge machine,a special control system based on PLC was developed to solve the technical problems of communication between PLC and high-frequency pulse power supply,human-machine interface interaction and motion control.The system has the parameters of setting,manual processing,automatic processing and other options,can achieve manual rapid advance and retreat,fast knife,real-time monitoring of parameters display,discharge short circuit detection,a key processing,fault emergency stop function.And design PLC program and man-machine interface for each functional module.A single-factor process experiment was conducted to cut a narrow groove on a multi-groove synchronous electric discharge wire cutting machine.On a multi-slot machine tool,a narrow groove with a depth of 4 mm was cut on an aluminum alloy with a size of 20 mm*5 mm using a molybdenum wire having a diameter of 0.15 mm.The dimensions of the cut groove width under different processing parameters such as pulse width,pulse multiple,power supply,feed speed,and wire feed speed were studied separately,and the rules were analyzed.Based on this,a multi-station single-factor experiment was designed,and the consistency of the slot width was taken as the research object to analyze the factors affecting the quality and stability of the multi-slot synchronous cutting slot,thereby confirming the reliability of the multi-slot machine tool.
