With the rapid growth of economy, construction gets unprecedented development. However, increasing safety accidents which bring great lost to the possession and life of human beings have attracted widely attention of the society. In order to protect the workers' health in construction and reduce casualties, efficient and scientific management must be implemented immediately. Therefore, building perfect construction safety management system and improving its reliability have practical value.Firstly, this thesis adopts the complex and system theory to illustrate the complexity and systematic of construction safety management. Then, based on the literature research and system theory, the construction safety management will be built.Construction safety management will be decomposed to different factors in six groups, namely, organization, technical measurements, resources, training, controlling, and contingency management about construction safety. The system can show the relation of management factors in different subsystems. And then this thesis applies the fault tree analysis to built system reliability model. Finally, investigating the status of construction safety management of 40 experts in projects with questionnaires and evaluating the failure rate of different factors by fuzzy fault tree analysis method. This thesis finds the key factors in construction safety management and proposes the corresponding improvement measures to enhance the system reliability. This thesis analyzes construction safety management by the system theory and adopts the fuzzy fault tree method to analyze the system reliability. The research can provide guidance for safety management in construction and is also conducive to improve the system's reliability.
