Design And Research Of Home Intelligent Fire Extinguisher Based On Interactive Design Concept

With the rapid development of society and economy,the living standards have been improved a lot and the home decoration has become more prosperous in recent years.What's more,the category,quantity and utilization of household appliances with high-power have increased.In our country,frequent fires caused by flammability of decorative materials,short circuit and overload of electrical circuit and so on,has induced a serious loss of life and property.It has been reported that home fires occur from 22:30 p.m.to 6:00 a.m.,during which it is difficult for people to perceive the occurrence of fire because of deep sleep,and then easily cause casualties.For this situation,we propose to design a intelligent fire extinguisher based on the traditional style and integration,which can track potential fire in real time and then put out it,and minimize the risk of casualties and property damage caused by fire.Central to this concept is the combination between old fire extinguisher and Internet.Firstly,according to the literature,we summarize the relevant theories and design principles of human-computer interaction to provide a theoretical basis for the interactive design of intelligent fire extinguishers.Secondly,a comprehensive research toward the user and synthetic analysis(physical,psychological,cognitive,and behavioral characteristics)to the affected population have been investigated quantitatively and qualitatively.At last,we research and analysis the relevant factors affecting the design of intelligent fire extinguishers from the current situation of fire extinguishers,the causes,characteristics and hazards of family fires,so that we can delve deeper psychological need of target customer to ensure the major function of the intelligent fire extinguisher.Depending on the previous theoretical study and survey results,the paper present a interactive strategy on sensory,behavior and emotion as a guidance of product design practice.In the end,the principle of interactive design and method of UCD interactive design were proposed in accordance with the theoretical research of interactive design.The next step is to put the theory into practice including hardware interaction system of intelligent fire extinguisher and companion mobile apps.In this paper,the design research of intelligent fire extinguisher not only interstates different subjects including human-computer interaction,sentimental engineering,psychology,information science,artificial intelligence and so on,but also investigates with target usersusage scenarios,and user needs of smart fire extinguishers.To design a home smart fire extinguisher that satisfies the user's mental model and provides a good user experience.
