Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing(WAAM)is a kind of additive manufacturing technology based on metal wire melting deposition.It has a lot of advantages,like high-efficiency,low-cost,high-density and so on,so it has been widely concerned by scholars.However,the problem of low shape forming precision limits the development and application of this technology.This paper uses Rui-long NBC 200 GW welding machine,H08Mn2 SiA welding wires and Q235 B Substrate to conduct the experience.Under the multi-parameter coupling of welding speed,wire feeding speed and welding voltage,this paper can predict the weld cross section shape of WAAM accurately,and research the rules of weld shaping dimension through establishing the weld geometric models and regression equations.This paper can provide theoretical basis for improving the shape forming precision of WAAM.Firstly,study on the single-layer single-bead weld shaping dimension rules of WAAM.The weld width and height regression equations about welding parameters are established,and the semielliptical weld geometric model of weld cross section shape is proposed,achieving the simulation process from welding parameters directly to the geometric model.Meanwhile,the microstructure and mechanical property of single-layer single-bead weld are introduced briefly.Based on the analysis,the rules of single-layer single-bead weld shaping dimension are obtained: welding speed is the main factor.The weld width and height are inversely proportional to the welding speed,and are proportional to the wire feeding speed and welding voltage.Secondly,study on the single-layer multi-bead weld shaping dimension rules of WAAM.An improved tangent geometric model of weld cross section shape is presented.Through the quadratic general rotary unitized design,the regression equation of the real weld center distance about welding parameters is established.Meanwhile,the microstructure and mechanical property of single-layer multi-bead weld are introduced briefly.Based on the analysis,the rules of single-layer multi-bead weld shaping dimension are obtained: welding speed is the main factor.The weld width and height are inversely proportional to the welding speed,and are proportional to the wire feeding speed and welding voltage.Thirdly,study on the multi-layer single-bead weld shaping dimension rules of WAAM.Through the quadratic general rotary unitized design,the regression equation of the average weld height about welding parameters is established.Meanwhile,the microstructure and mechanical property of multi-layer single-bead weld are introduced briefly.Based on the analysis,the rules of multi-layer single-bead weld shaping dimension are obtained: welding speed is the main factor.The weld width and height are inversely proportional to the welding speed and welding voltage,and are proportional to the wire feeding speed.Finally,the thesis is summarized,and the future research is prospected.
