The fabrication and application of hydrophobic surface is an important research field,which has broad prospects for future development.However,due to the complexity and prohibitive costs of the common fabrication methods,imperfection of hydrophobic related theory,the application of hydrophobic surface has been greatly limited.This dissertation aims to explore and optimize the fabrication method of hydrophobic surfaces and study its anti-icing application.In this dissertation,the SU-8 photoresist was chosen as the structure layer to fabricate hydrophobic surface,the fabrication process of SU-8 photoresist was systematically investigated,and different styles of ordered micro-structure-array hydrophobic surfaces were successfully fabricated.These surfaces were used as the experimental materials to investigate the factors affecting the static hydrophobicity of micro-structure-array surface and the relations between hydrophobicity and anti-icing property.The main contents include::1.Based on the traditional hydrophobic model,the infiltration state of the droplet on the surface was briefly analyzed,and the parameters of the hydrophobic micro-structure-array were designed theoretically.Based on the principle of phase transition,the relationship between surface hydrophobicity and anti-icing property is elaborated.2.The preparation of ordered micro-structure-array hydrophobic surface using SU-8 photoresist was studied.The process of fabricating micro-structure-arrays with SU-8 photoresist was introduced.In addition,the fabrication results,dimension error and key problems were discussed.3.The factors affecting the static hydrophobicity of micro-structure-array surface were studied.Micro-structure-array hydrophobic surfaces with different cross-sectional shapes,modes of array arrangement and solid-liquid contact areas were prepared.The effect of these three factors on the static hydrophobicity of the surfaces was studied.The results show that the cross sectional shape of the array element has no significant effect on the static hydrophobicity of the surface when the solid-liquid contact area fraction is the same.As for the array arrangement,the triangular and quadrilateral arrangements are the two superior types of array arrangement.When other factors are the same,the solid-liquid contact area fraction has a significant influence on the static hydrophobicity of the surface and has a negative correlation with the surface static contact angle.4.The relationship between hydrophobicity and anti-icing property was studied.Two kinds of experiments were carried on.The first one is the initial icing time comparison experiment between hydrophobic and hydrophilic surfaces while the other is the initial icing temperature comparison experiment between micro-structure-array surfaces of different hydrophobicity.The experimental results show that the hydrophobic surface has a delayed icing time of 3-6 minutes compared with the hydrophilic surface at-20℃,and the surface hydrophobicity has a positive correlation with anti-icing property.
