Hydrogen can be used as an alternative energy source because of its regeneration, high calorific value,pollution-free and combustion stability.Hydrogen production by anaerobic digestion not only does not need the light source, but also can use organic waste as raw material,so as to achieve continuous and stable hydrogen production under anaerobic conditions. Therefore,it has higher research value and more practical significance.Anaerobic hydrogen production of waste from livestock and poultry excrement, represented by chicken manure, has a problem of low C/N,and the anaerobic hydrogen production of the waste with high carbohydrate content is easy to acidification.High carbohydrate of fruit and vegetable waste mixed with high nitrogen waste chicken manure can adjust the appropriate C/N,and trace and mineral nutrients in the chicken manure are beneficial to promote the activity of microorganism fermentation, the two can achieve good complementary advantages,is an ideal substrate for fermentation of hydrogen. However,up to now, there is no relevant report on the production of hydrogen by two mixed fermentation. This study based on the vision of chicken manure and fruit and vegetable waste resource utilization,to improve the defects of the two separate organic waste fermentation,Batch experiment was used to study the effects of mixed anaerobic hydrogen production of chicken manure and fruit and vegetable waste,in order to provide a theoretical basis for the engineering practice of the resource utilization of this kind of waste. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Five mixed-substrates could produce hydrogen, but the mixture of chicken manure with potato pulp was the best choose, its fermentation was butyrate-type.(2)The optimum ratio between chicken manure with potato pulp was 3:7;the optimum substrate concentration was 40 g/L.The upper limit of the substrate concentration of hydrogen production is182.63g-VS/L,the inhibition of substrate concentration at anaerobic co-fermentation of chicken manure with potato pulp to produce hydrogen was anti-competitive.(3)The optimum beginning pH was 5.5 for anaerobic co-fermentation of chicken manure with potato pulp to produce hydrogen, hydrogen is produced mainly through the fermentation of carboxyl bacteria. The neutral fermentative environment has the inhibitory effect on the hydrolytic acidification bacteria and theactivity of hydrogen-producing bacteria.(4)The mixture of chicken manure with potato pulp at the ratio was 3:7 under the conditions of pH was 5.5 and substrate concentration was 40 g/L had higher energy recovery by two-stage fermentation of hydrogen and methane, and the best pretreatment was heat pretreatment.
