The occurrence of water pollution caused by antibiotics has aroused the concern of environmental protection departments and the public.Antibiotics have been widely detected in water bodies at China,and the concentrations ranging from ng/L to ?g/L.Drinking water is closely related to the human health,so sources analysis of antibiotic pollution in drinking water sources is helpful for environmental protection departments to timely measure to prevent and control pollution,and to protect the water quality of drinking water source and health of residents.So,a method for fingerprinting extraction of antibiotics in surface water,which covered 49 kinds of antibiotics from 8 classes was established in this work,firstly.The method had a good linear relationship in the range of 0.001?0.5 ?g/mL(0.01?5 pg/mL for streptomycin),the recovery rate was 51.74%?94.69%.Then,antibiotic pollution fingerprinting and antibiotic resistance gene abundance from different types of drinking water sources and surface water samples collected were extracted,and the source and characteristic of antibiotic contamination was analyzed from these two aspects.The results showed that,the samples of river-type water sources detected a higher content of antibiotics and antibiotic resistance genes(99.80?195.49 ng/L;7.47×10-3?3.57×10-2 copies/16S rRNA).This situation might be related to the emissions behavior of chemical industry,pharmaceutical companies and sewage treatment plant in the surrounding area,or be affected by the flow rate and direction of the river,or other natural factors.Therefore,further investigation was required.Samples of reservoir drinking water sources and lake drinking water sources detected lower levels of antibiotics(0.59 ng/L;3.28 ng/L),might be mainly affected by domestic sewage in the surrounding area,and samples of lake drinking water sources might also be affected by the use of antibiotics in aquaculture nearby.In the experiment,it was also found that there was a clear difference between the antibiotic contamination of some sampling points and other sites.It might be related to the presence of pollution sources nearby,or related to sewage behavior.And,closely monitored and investigated were needed.This paper also compared the concentration of erythromycin in environmental water samples with the minimum selection concentration(MSCs)of erythromycin for S.aureus that measured in the experiment.And the highest environmental concentration is about 0.001 time of minimum selection concentration(MSCs),this concentration of antibiotics might have risk to the environment.
