Because of serious air pollution,most countries have made laws or regulations to restrict the sulfur content in fuel oil with a more rigorous standard in rencent years.Among desulfurization techniques,photocatalytic oxidation coulped ionic liquids(ILs)extraction desulfurization technology,which has many advantages such as mild conditions,simple techniques,high desulfurization efficiency,shows promising as an approach for deep desulfurization.Applications of different ILs in photocatalysis oxidation desulfurization were investigated with LaFeO3 or iron oxide as photo catalysts,thiophene/dibenzothiophene(DBT)in n-octane as model oil.Sol-gel method and reverse microemulsion method were used to synthesized Ca2+and Nd3+ doped nanopowders LaFeO3,the first time since the combustion method using ionic liquid and the mixed crystals were synthesized LaFeO3 iron oxide photocatalyst.By adjusting the amount of Et3NHCl to control the production of crystal LaFeO3 and the proportion of iron oixed crystal ?-Fe2O3 ?-Fe2O3.Using XRD,TEM,FT-IR,UV-Vis DRS and other testing techniques to characterize them.By comparison photo-oxidation desulfurization,draw mixed crystal of iron oxide as a photocatalyst for the best photo-oxidation desulfurization and visible light catalytic oxidation of fuel oil desulfurization mechanism.Lewis ionic liquids with different structure were synthesized with quaternary Ammonium salts as positive ions and metal chlorides,such as ZnCl2,FeCl3,as negative ions.The ionic liquids composed of triethylamine hydrochloride and ferric chloride was selected as extracti-on solvent,after the effects of the kinds,size,viscosity and structure of the ionic liquids on the extraction and the desulphurization was investigated.The best results of used 1.6Et3NHCl·FeCl3 as extraction solvent extraction removal of sulfur compounds in fuel oil.The experiment of photocatalytic oxidation ionic liquids extraction was as follows:Model oil was 500ppm sulphur content,photocatalyst was 0.05g,the ratio of solvent and oil was 1:2.5,the flow of the air was 500ml/min,under the irridation of Metal Halide Lamp.Desulfurization rate could reach to 92.3%within 60 min reaction time.By the experimental results obtained mixed crystal Fe2O3 photocatalytic reaction mechanism map.
