In this paper,SiO2 and NC were used as the gel skeleton,nano Al and nano CuO as metal catalysts.Four different RDX based nanocomposite energetic materials,including RDX/Al/Si02,RDX/CuO/SiO2,RDX/Al/NC and RDX/CuO/NC,were prepared by sol-gel method.The microstructure of the nanocomposite energetic materials was characterized by several methods,such as SEM,TEM,XRD and EDS.The thermal properties of the samples were studied by TG and DSC.Finally,the impact sensitivity and friction sensitivity of the nanocomposite energetic materials were tested by Impact Sensitivity Instrument and Swing Friction Sensitivity Tester.The main results were as following:(1)Sol-gel preparation of nano composite energetic materials,explosives and other additives are coated in gel matrix,three-dimensional network of nano size gel holes limits the explosives in the crystallization process of growing,making explosive coated in gel matrix and getting refinement.(2)When using SEM,TEM,XRD and EDS to characterize the nanocomposite energetic materials,we found that the single explosives RDX and metal additives were uniformly filled in the SiO2 and NC gel skeleton,and the particle size of the explosives filled in the gel skeleton was smaller than 100nm.(3)The thermal properties of the samples were studied by TG and DSC.samples test study found that filling in an inert SiO2 gel skeleton of the thermal decomposition temperature of RDX is advanced,and the catalytic properties of metal Al is better than CuO;The thermal decomposition temperature of RDX filling in NC gel matrix is clearly in advance,and the catalytic performance of CuO is better than Al nano powder.(4)Through the test of four different kinds of RDX based nano composite energetic materials system impact and friction sensitivity of the samples,found that the impact sensitivity and friction sensitivity were significantly lower,and with NC as gel matrix the impact and friction sensitivity decreased most obviously.
