Study On The Design Of Kitchenware Based On Chinese Catering Behavior

"With the material life increasing rich today,the influence of the Chinese culture whose with extremely inclusiveness will broaden still further.With a show called A Bite of China broadcast,China’s catering culture begans to face the world,and which plays an important role and yields unusually brilliant results in the world.The important carrier of food culture-kitchenware,which gains more and more attention of people.People have shifted their lifestyle and the demand of daily supplies from the satisfaction of basic daily life to the spiritual pursuit of pleasure.People always get in contact with kitchenware when they have three meals a day in daily life.From a primitive form of life to the exquisite cuisine of modern society,from raw food to cooked,from satiety to a nutritionally balanced diet.The diet not only initiates a reform,but also drives the development of kitchenware.We can draw a conclusion that kitchenware is the most direct products that reflect the lifestyle of different groups.With regard to the design of kitchenware in the modern way of life,we not only consider the change of kitchen itself,but also pay more attention to the change of cooking method and dietary structure which due to the changing times.Based on the background of Chinese food culture,this paper studies the design of kitchenware,and regards a typical crowd—SOHO people as a representative of this case analysis.The paper aims to explore the new direction of the Chinese kitchenware development.The contents of this paper include:the change and development of food culture at all times and in all countries;different dietary structure and concept between China and Western countries;history of kitchenware development in China and Western countries,and the influence and reference that advanced concept of western kitchenware has on our kitchenware design.The target population of the study-SOHO,whose working environment,living habits,income levels and other aspects decide that they have a new requirement on the quality of healthy living and life experience of personalized diet therapy.Therefore,combined with the historical background and cultural background,and take the lifestyle of target population as the starting point,we will through the investigation and analysis of the target population,find problems of using kitchenware and analyze them in depth,discuss the main factors that affect the design of kitchenware,and combine with the characteristics of crowd and summarize the Chinese kitchenware design principles of SOHO.We will put toward design of kitchenware which conform to their lifestyle,and look forward to the further development direction of kitchenware design in the context of Chinese dietary behavior.
