Research On "Without Thought" Philosophy Of Design Applied To Kitchenware Design

With the highly developed socio-economic level and people's pursuit of quality of life and high quality of life,people no longer only value the functionality of their products when purchasing products,they also begin to pay attention to the appearance and product experience of products.So the value of industrial design has been achieved by recognition from all walks of life.However,blindly pursuing the over design of products and pursuing the innovation of design forms have virtually increased the burden of people's adaptation.Faced with this background phenomenon of the research,designers began to rethink the nature of design.Therefore,"Without Thought" Philosophy of design that is designed with people as the center has been widely recognized."People regard food as heaven" reflects that eating plays an important role in people's lives and kitchenware is an indispensable life product in people's lives.In order to satisfy people's pursuit of high quality of life,make kitchen products more humanized,introduce and apply "Without Thought" Philosophy of design in kitchenware design.This article begins with the two important academic concepts of "unconsciousness" and "unconscious behavior",evoking "Without Thought" Philosophy of design and taking the works of Naoto Fukasawa as examples to analyze the design elements of "Without Thought" and interpreting it from the perspective of products.Then,using case analysis and inductive deduction methods,based on case studies,the design methods of "Without Thought",namely,behavioral restoration,behavioral excitation,and emotion excitation,are summarized.Based on the concepts and design methods of "Without Thought",Sum up the "Without Thought" design process,including:determining the design goals,behavior observation,matching design methods and product design in four stages.Then,based on the understanding of the concept and classification of kitchenware,through the analysis of the classic kitchen product case,summarize and analyze the design requirements of kitchenware products,and analyze the necessity of Without Thought applying to kitchenware products from the perspective of human-object-environment relationship and humanistic care.Finally,based on the analysis of the design requirements of kitchenware products,the design practice of Without Thought applying to kitchenware products was completed according to the design method and design flow of "Without Thought".And through the analysis of the design scheme,the feasibility and rationality of its application were explored.According to the research results in this article,this article uses the design method of "Without Thought" to complete the design of cutlery,cooking utensils,stoves,spices bottles,knives and chopping boards,sinks,detergent bottles,refrigerators,and cabinets.And the designed kitchen utensil satisfied the potential needs of users,the usage mode of the kitchenware complied with the user's behavior habits,and the positive emotional interaction was established between the kitchenware and the user,thereby creating a safer,more efficient and full of interesting kitchen environment.It is thus proved that applying Without Thought to kitchenware design can not only improve the quality of the products,but also improve the user experience of the products,and has certain theoretical guidance and reference for the design research of household kitchenware products in future.
