Masked projection stereo lithography through the dynamic mask equipment to form a curing layer mask pattern,the pattern projection to the UV-curable solution surface for curing,a exposure to solidify a level of entities,the whole entity is formed by the accumulation of layers,with simple process,easy to operate,the quality of the workpiece surface characteristics.Ceramic materials with the high melting point,high hardness,high wear resistance and oxidation and other advantages,is widely used in various fields,but high-precision,complex structure of the ceramic parts processing difficult,and high cost,the masked projection stereo lithography applied to the production of ceramics not only reduces the cost,but also improve the manufacturing efficiency,has a broad prospects for development.To produce high-quality ceramic parts,the preparation of ceramic suspensions is both the first step and the basis of ceramic masked projection stereo lithography curing.In this paper,the preparation of alumina ceramic suspensions as the representative,the viscosity is a main parameter characterizing of the dispersion stability of suspension,the viscosity of suspension is experimentally studied,and the effect of solid content,temperature and pH value on the viscosity of the suspension was discussed.Experimental results showed that with the increase of the solid content,the viscosity of alumina suspension was increasing;with the increase of the temperature,the viscosity of alumina suspension gradually decreased;PH value had little effect on the viscosity of alumina suspension.The study also found that excessive temperature dependence can be attributed to thermal dilution,the effect of thermal dilution on the apparent activation energy of the viscous flow of the alumina suspension can be removed from the K-D(Krieger-Dougherty)formula.Ceramic suspensions have their own cure characteristics,through experiments with different conditions of alumina ceramic suspension of single-layer curing the change of the depth and width,to explore the curing characteristics of alumina ceramic suspension,and analyze the particle size,solid content on the curing depth,breadth and width difference,the influence of curing and the regularity about the ceramic suspension.Finally,based on the above research,the suitable technological parameters are selected and the representative ceramic embryo is made,the experimental results show that the fabrication accuracy of the system satisfies the requirements of the parts making,and the ideal ceramic parts can be obtained after the treatment(drying,degreasing and sintering).
