A lot of fossil energy consumption has led to a decline of its reserves,which not only affects the sustainable development of society,but also brings serious harm to the ecological environment.Fuel cell has many advantages,such as high efficiency,wide fuel sources,and low emissions,and the applications of fuel cell are consistent with the concept of sustainable development.It is the fourth generation of power generation technology after firepower,water power,and nuclear power,it is applied in aerospace,automotive,backup power supplies,and electronic products and so on.Normally,the fuel cell stack in the application is composed of many cells in series,any deterioration or failure in any one cell will affect the overall system normal operation,so the detection of the fuel cell stack is very necessary.The task of this dissertation is to design a fuel cell detection system based on Linear Technology's LTC6811 battery management chip.First of all,through reviewing a large number of related technical literature,the basic working principles of fuel cells are studied,detection methods about fuel cell voltage,current,temperature,gas pressure and relative humidity operating parameters and the control methods about entire fuel cell stack detection system are demonstrated,based on these demonstration,the overall design solution of the fuel cell stack detection system is worked out.In addition,after briefly describing the CAN bus communication principle,CAN bus application layer protocol for the distributed control of the fuel cell detection system is designed in particularly,which includes a communication mode design,a message identifier configuration,data format definition,and a message design,each node normal data transmission and exchange via the CAN bus can be ensured.Next,the hardware circuit is designed according to the overall scheme for fuel cell detection system,the hardware circuit design includes MCU minimum system,cell voltage detection,cell current detection,cell temperature detection,gas relative humidity,gas pressure detection,system alarm,and communication interface circuit.Then,according to the overall design of the system,the system's main program flow is designed first,and then the subroutine flow of single cell voltage detection,current detection,temperature detection,gas pressure detection,humidity detection,system alarm and CAN communication program flow are designed.Finally,based on the Linear Technology test software QuikEval,DC590 emulator,cell test board and program development environment Arduino IDE,to build a fuel cell voltage test platform,the simulation test results are accurately displayed in the host computer QuikEval GUI.In order to fully observe the test results,a simple upper computer interface is designed based on LabVIEW,through simulation tests of cell voltage,current,temperature,relative gas humidity,and gas pressure,the result shows that all functions of the system can be achieved,and that normal,stable work can be achieved,basically meeting the design's expected goals.
