Resource Characteristics And Development Practice Research Of Middle And Low Rank Coalbed Methane In Baode Block

Coalbed Methane?CBM?Resources are abundant in China.36.8×10¹²m³ CBM resources are shallower than 2000m,in which high rank CBM accounts for 23%,middle rank 34%and low rank 43%.Since 1980s,China has started CBM technology research and development experiment.In recent years,CNPC and JAMG has preliminarily achieved the large-scale commercial development for middle and high rank CBM in Qinshui?Ordos and other basins,but the development of middle and low rank CBM has just started.Therefore,it is of important practical significance and strategic significance to speed up the exploration and development of middle and low rank CBM gas fields.This paper takes Baode Block as the research object.The geological and reservior characteristics of the middle and low rank CBM are systemmatically studied by utilizing the structural geology,seismic,logging,fracturing and mining dynamics of the block,which reveals the key factor of the middle and low CBM enrichment,sums up the“Multi-Source Symbiosis,Hydrodynamic Gas-Controlling,Enrichment”theory,carries out the research of fine selection and evaluation technology.Combined with the current technical problems in the exploration and development of the middle and low rank CBM,targeted carries out the research of the key technologies of CBM development and the application effect analysis,which have formed CBM 3D seismic exploration technology,hydrolic sand fracturing technology,optimizing the coalbed equipment and CBM mining quantitative control technology.The paper discusses the parameter optimization method of different development modes in practice,which formed a set of scientific and reasonable CBM well position deployment,well patter,well spacing and well type optimization method,and suitable low cost exploration and development matching technology in Baode Block.Found the first middle and low CBM gas field in China,and the gas field development achieved remarkable results.
