Subsea umbilical is an important part of subsea production control system,for connecting water platform and subsea products,umbilical up to tens of kilometers,the price is expensive,large volume of ancillary facilities,the price of storage and transportation is expensive,so that the subsea production control system test cost is very high,but very inconvenient.Therefore,expect using a low cost umbilical equivalent device,the device's hydraulic transmission characteristics are equivalent to the real length umbilical,while the volume and the cost is far less than the true umbilical,and is convenient for parameter adjustments and changes,so to ensure constant transmission characteristics of umbilical,test the whole system of subsea production system.Using the similarity principle of transmission characteristics of power in circuit and hydraulic in umbilical,determine the equivalent theory of transmission characteristics of umbilical cable and the equivalent method,the main simulation parameters such as HPU accumulator,subsea accumulator,equivalent components were calculated,using AMESim analyze umbilical cable pressure relief characteristics,the operation of the valve,and other characteristics,a hydraulic transmission characteristic equivalent device of 25 km long umbilical cord is designed,which can simulate high pressure 10000 psi,low pressure 5000 psi and return oil 5000 psi pressure grade.According to the subsea production control system standards,test umbilical hydraulic transmission characteristics of equivalent device,by testing the equivalent device and the real umbilical simulation's pressure relief and valve operation characteristics,and then comparing these characteristics to verify the accuracy of the equivalent.
