The problem of treating municipal solid waste?MSW?has become an important problem in today's society.There are two ways which are used to deal with MSW at present.The ways are landfill and incineration.Landfill occupies a lot of land resources.Incineration can reduce the quantity of MSW,but it produces the second pollution problems,such as the problem of dioxin.It is proved that the pyrolysis technology is one of the most important MSW disposal direction with the advantages of little secondary pollution,quite innocuity and high reusability.There are three products with pyrolysis of MSW.The pyrolysis gas is the cleanest energy for recycle.The pyrolysis of MSW is researched to find the best experiment scheme of producing gas in this thesis.This study was carried out on the pyrolysis experiments of MSW with the different heating ways and catalysts.There are two kinds of different types of pyrolysis furnaces in the laboratory.They are tubular heating and radiation heating.The factors of catalysts are the location of adding and the variety.This thesis compared the effects on gas through the analysis of the yield of pyrolysis products and the change of composition of the pyrolysis gas.The experimental results show that it is the best scheme for producing gas with the radiational pyrolysis and the dolomite added in the catalytic cracking furnace.The amount of dolomite is 10%of the experimental materials.It is the most economical.The production rate of gas is 35.4%,and H2 production rate is 29.8%,and CH4production rate is 14.1%.And the quality of the pyrolysis gas is higher.
